Leonardo DiCaprio wants a superhero role

Wednesday, August 18 2010

Although, at one point in his career, Leonardo DiCaprio refused to play the role of Spiderman or Batman, now he says that he would like such a role.

The actor was taken into consideration for the role of Robin in the film "Batman Forever" in 1995 and he was also proposed to play the role of "Spiderman" (in the Spiderman series) but refused such offers because they wanted to engage in long term projects.

"Unfortunately I was not prepared to wear a superhero costume, but I am now," said DiCaprio.

As you can see in the statement above, the actor admits that in the future he would not rule out such a proposal.

"You never know. Now the movies that are based on the cartoon strip or comic books became more complex and interesting. I can't say that in the future I will not play in such a project.
