LeAnn Rimes Can't Take More Weight Loss Criticism

Tuesday, October 4 2011

LeAnn Rimes is going through some difficult times, mostly due to the constant weight loss criticism.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, the popular singer says she feels like a victim of bullies.
"I've kind of gotten over it when it comes to myself," LeAnn Rimes said, shooting back on those who mock her about her weight problems. "These are diseases. Using them as name calling, it's almost bullying. I feel for people are actually going through these diseases. I'm not one of them."
When asked if she suffers from any eating disorder, Rimes replied: "No, I am not but I do feel like the press … they’ve been very irresponsible. Calling a lot of people fat or anorexic or bulimic or whatever it may be, it just seems like bullying now," she said, "instead of really taking these diseases seriously that a lot of people are going through."
