In her photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar, former Hills star Lauren Conrad changed her hair color. She was transformed into a brunette for the day-long experiment.
Conrad, who released her first novel entitled L.A. Candy recently, said that using only a wig may not be a great idea that's why her hair color was altered. "I think initially the wig threw people off, but they figured it out. I felt like it only disguised me for a moment, and then it made me feel like I was hiding, which made me feel silly."
But there was a time when she tried wearing wigs. "I went into a wig store and tried on a brown wig, and they all laughed at me. All these women (who worked there) were like, 'You look like Hannah Montana.'"
