After 3 years of blissful dating, Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard announced their break-up at the end of the last week, shocking the celebrity gossip world.
But what happened?
"He saw the relationship as distracting from his goal of being the next Robert De Niro," a close friend says in the latest issue of Us Weekly. "He wasn't supportive of her career."
With a critically-beloved turn on My Boys and an upcoming role on Royal Pains, Kyle does have a bright acting career in front of him.
