Kevin Costner is not scared of failure

Wednesday, March 16 2011

Kevin Costner is not afraid of failure and that the reason he had the courage to play in several flop movies - The Postman and Waterworld.

"I'm not afraid to fail and I'm not overly impressed with success. I've learned that failure doesn't kill you." he said.

The 56-year-old actor recently revealed he doesn't care if he's popular at the box office or not and knows he is not the first choice of every studio.

"I haven't worked for a really long time because I tend to make movies that aren't sequels, so I'm not exactly in vogue. I can make a movie for $6 million, but most of the time it's going to be around $30 million or $40 million and Hollywood is very leery of movies that cost between $10 million and $150 million dollars." Kevin said.
