Kelly Rowland Applauds Beyonce
Kelly Rowland Applauds Beyonce

Monday, September 14 2009

Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland praised how Beyonce Knowles handled the controversial MTV VMAs incident involving Taylor Swift and Kanye West on Sunday night.

During her acceptance speech for Video of the Year Award, Beyonce called Swift onstage to continue her so-called VMA moment.

"Beyonce is such a classy, gracious woman. I actually Tweeted that, and everybody was like, 'It's so true,'" Rowland said. "I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it's important to know that there is room for everybody. Kanye is a genius, no one takes that away from him, but (he should) be moral and be a (good) person."
