Juliette Lewis has been involved in a hit-and-run accident

Juliette Lewis had been out for an event promoting her new movie Conviction last night when her car was hit at an intersection in Burbank, California.
The impact was severe enough for to have to be taken to a nearby hospital.
"Juliette went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore but thankfully OK," he rep said. "She is now resting at home."
Juliette's car was said to have been "completely totaled" in the accident -which saw the vehicle "T-Boned" — where the side of the car is hit directly by the front of another.
The driver of the other vehicle, a Honda, fled the scene and law enforcement officers discovered the vehicle a short distance away.
The driver has yet to be found and an investigation has been launched.
Earlier in the evening, Juliette was joined by Minnie Driver and Hilary Swank at the Beverley Hills premiere of the Tony Goldwyn-directed movie.
