Jonas Brothers' New Song, Poison Ivy

Jonas Brothers' New Song, Poison Ivy

Thursday, May 21 2009

by Joe Halls

Jonas Brothers is releasing their fourth studio album on June 15, Lines, Vines and Trying Times. One of the striking songs in the album is Poison Ivy which is about a toxic girl that one cannot resist.

Confirming that the song was not about the brothers' former flings like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas said, "It's a song about how something may not be too good for you, but you keep going back to it because you can't resist the urge, the itch, to go back to the person. I think that's something people can relate to."

"Sometimes when we write songs, it's not something we've been through," he continued. "It's something that we've seen someone else go through and we say, 'Why don't we write a song about that?'"
