The controversial TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is back. And this is the first time the show airs again since the Gosselins announced their separation.
On the first episode, Kate brought her kids to Bald Head Island, N.C. while Jon was left in their Pennsylvania home to supervise the renovation of their kitchen. Jon said, "It's kind of strange we're remodeling our kitchen in the middle of our separation, but it's something that we already planned beforehand."
The second episode features the campingof Kate and kids in their backyard. "This was my first official turn with the kids. It didn't feel very different." She then continued, "It's a very difficult time right now. Those words don't even cover it. My goal is to make it as easy and painless for the kids."
