Jon Heder Is Dropping Out of Will Ferrell Sitcom

Tuesday, April 6 2010

While we were all anxious to see what Will Ferrell's still-untitled production was all about, we foud out that Comedy Central sitcom was set to begin, but without Jon Heder. Two days before the production's start, Jon was dropped out. The explanation was simple: creative differences were to be blamed.

We can only guess that Ferrel was expecting lots of scenes with middle aged guys hanging around with their t-shirts off.

On the other hand, we have the Team Heder's statement: "Comedy Central, Gary Sanchez Productions and Jon Heder have mutually decided to part ways over creative differences with the character."

In the first place, Jon Heder had been cast to play the part of a kid who loses his job and is determined to move back in with his parents, in a small town. This way, the sitcom's future remains unstable, despite the fact that Comedy Central had arranged an initial 10-episode order for the show, starring Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz.
