The latest episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight on TLC highlighted the surprise birthday celebration of the eight children's mom Kate. But on her special day, her husband Jon was a no-show.
Jon, who was on a snowboarding trip, said, "I went out to Utah for like five days. I just wanted to get back out there and ride with my friends. It just happened to fall on Kate’s birthday."
In a voiceover, Jon noted, "This season, sometimes you'll see Kate and I interview separately. Sometimes you'll see us interview together on the chair. It depends how things are going. We have busy schedules."
