Jessica Simpson Should Have Been Careful Of Coyote Attacks

Monday, September 21 2009

Animal experts have a common advice to Jessica Simpson, who lost her maltipoo named Daisy after being attacked by a coyote. They said she should have been extra careful since coyotes are everywhere in L.A.

"Los Angeles has had coyotes for a long time," Director of Urban Wildlife Programs at the Humane Society Dr. John Hadidian said. "They have a more established population there."

He added, "They're not doing it to be mean. It's business to them. Just another day they have to survive." Hadidian further noted, "Coyotes get active around nightfall, during sun up and sun down. When it gets dark at night, you have no way of watching your pet if it's outside alone." Halle Berry, Ozzy Osbourne, and other celebrities also lost their pets back then due to coyote attacks.
