Jennifer Lopez Hosts Private Gathering for Sonia Sotomayor
Jennifer Lopez Hosts Private Gathering for Sonia Sotomayor

Wednesday, August 19 2009

Sonia Sotomayor, the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice in the history of United States of America, was treated by another famous Hispanic Hollywood celebrity couple, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony.

The influential duo hosted a private gathering for Sotomayor in their New York's Long Island home according to a report by GossipCop.com.

Few guests, mostly from the world of politics, were invited in the intimate dinner. Earlier this month, the 55-year-old member of the highest court, who was nominated by President Barack Obama, was sworn in to office.

Meanwhile, Lopez and Sotomayor have many things in common. They both came from Puerto Rican decent, and grew up in Bronx, New York.
