Jen Schefft Shares Advice on Dating

Wednesday, June 3 2009

by Joe Halls

To all bachelorettes, Jen Schefft, who was once engaged to a now-forgotten-relationship with Andrew Firestone on The Bachelor 2003, shared a piece of advice to you all saying "For all those people who are discouraged, you can meet the right person. Just don't settle."

Schefft recently got married to Joe Waterman, 35, an options traders. She said, "It's great knowing that I have a partner. It doesn't feel different. It just feels better."

The 32-year-old revealed that they met on a blind date. "It was so easy. We got along so well from the beginning. I knew what I was looking for. Someone I could totally be myself with, someone funny, fun, down to earth and my best friend. And that's what I found."

She then gave another advice, "I went on a million blind dates that didn't work out. I did get discouraged, but you just have to keep getting out there."
