Media mogul Jay-Z admitted in O: The Oprah Magazine’s October issue that he and wife Beyonce Knowles offended some of their colleagues when they tied the knot in April 2008 for inviting only "very few" friends and family.
He declared, "The sad part is that we offended some. But people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it's your day."
Jay-Z, whose eleventh studio album The Blueprint 3 will be released on September 11, added that after the wedding ceremony at his New York penthouse apartment, a party was held which was attended by Beyonce's Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her parents, close friend Gwyneth Paltrow, among others.
