The actor Jason Segel told Esquire magazine that he wants to leave the show How I Met Your Mother in 3 years to focus on other projects.
His contract regarding the comedy series expires in 2013 and he has no plans to renew it.
After eight years he feels that he has honored his commitment and the fact that his idol is Peter Sellers contradicts the idea of interpreting the same character for eight years.
He added that Marshall's character can't bring anything new, except maybe a divorce, but we all know that this will never happen.
The actor has some ideas about the series final. The first idea is that the famous mother of the children died before they have the chance to know it.
Regarding the second idea, it sounds like this: Ted and the children are caught in purgatory, and Ted is damned to tell his story forever.
Jason Segel is currently working on six film projects, including the new Muppets.by FW Editor |
