Despite the fact that he was the butt of a lot of jokes this season, Tim Urban did not seem to have a problem with it.
The singer is also OK with him being eliminated from the American Idol competition.
There were also too many words about Urban's dreadful performance.
"I feel like I created the perfect storm for Internet buzz," Urban tells TVGuide.com.
"I was the alternate who went out the first week and just tanked it. ... I created a storyline right there at the start."
On the other hand, Urban said it was his strong will to change that storyline in order to help him make it to the finals, and much more, to a seventh-place finish.
"I realized after that first week, that unless I went out there and really did something special, I was going to be the alternate escaping the inevitable, barely getting by," Urban said.
"I believe I made it as far on the show as I was supposed to, and I got the opportunity to present myself as an artist," he added.
"I look back at this as an amazing journey, as an amazing start, hopefully, to a career."by FW Editor |
