Harry Potter is Most Anticipated Summer Movie

Thursday, April 30 2009

by Joe Halls

Summer is the season of blockbuster movies. According to the online poll conducted by AOL site Moviefone.com, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tops the most anticipated summer films with thirty-nine percent of the votes.

Another sixty percent of the respondents believe that the upcoming Harry Potter franchise will win the box-office crown of the season.

Scott Robson, Moviefone's editor-in-chief, said, "It's going to be a big summer for 'Harry Potter,' people absolutely love that franchise, and for the most part the films seem to get better each time out."

The movies that will most likely invade the box-office results next to Harry Potter are Star Trek, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Terminator Salvation, and Bruno.
