Popular punk rock trio
target="_blank">Green Day will perform at a club in
href="http://regions.famouswhy.com/new_york/" target="_blank">New
York on May 18. The band will perform in this rare event which will
be held at the Bowery Ballroom, 3 days after the release of their new
album "21st Century Breakdown".
The band has already been performing in various small events in san
Francisco, including a performance at the DNA Lounge. Green Day is
reported to have played materials from their new album, as well as from
their previous album, "American Idiot", which featured the band's most
popular single, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
"Know Your Enemy", the first single from "21st Century Breakdown" will
be released on April 16. MTV and VH1 will premiere the video of the
single on April 24.
