Doctors told People.com that the baby boy who was born at only 1 lb., 8 oz, the last of the octuplets of Nadya Suleman, has improved his weight and nutrition; thus, he is going home very soon.
"Baby Jonah is doing very well. In fact, he's thriving. He's getting stronger with each passing day," Mandhir Gupta, a doctor at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, narrated.
The boy now weighed 4 lbs., 6 oz. since his birth on January 26 with his seven siblings. "He needs time to continue to grow so it will still be a few weeks, but the staff is pleased with Jonah's consistent progress," Dr. Gupta continued.
Moreover, the baby has a cleft lip. Though it doesn’t really stop the baby from gaining more weight, the doctors are set to mend it in few months time.
