Elizabeth Shue gets a role in the thriller 'The House at the End of the Street'

Thursday, August 19 2010

The folks at The Hollywood Reporter informs us that Elisabeth Shue was cast opposite to Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone) and Max Thieriot in the thriller The House at the End of the Street.

The film will be directed by Mark Tonderai and will tell the story of a teenager (Lawrence) who moves with her mother (Shue), into a seemingly mediocre and quiet town. Shortly after, she finds out that in the house across the street happened a terrible double murder.

Things get a bit more complicated when the young woman befriends with the only survivor of the massacre (Thieriot).

The screenplay was written by David Loucka after a story signed by Jonathan Mostow.

The House at the End of the Street will go into production next month in Ottawa.
