David Alan Grier, American actor and comedian, was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. Though his score improved by two points during the dance-off, it was still not enough to save him from elimination.
The 53-year-old and dance partner Kym Johnson earned 24 points for their Viennese Waltz. The dance duo even beat Lawrence Taylor in the dance-off duel. Judges saw the pair's improved routines and camaraderie but in the end, their fans and viewers will also decide for their fate in the contest.
Every week, the combination of viewers' votes and judges' scores will determine the couple to be eliminated. "From week one, Kym and I planned on being in the dance-off on week five, so my evil plan is coming together," Grier said before he got the boot.
