David Beckham Visits Afghanistan

Monday, May 31 2010

David Beckham recently returned from a short visit in Afghanistan. David Beckham visited a group of British troops stationed in Helmand.

During his visit, Beckham practiced his marksmanship skills, took a small base tour and he played some football with British soldiers.

The famous football star had lunch with British soldiers and he tried to adapt (even for a few days) to the military strict regime.

David Beckham stated in a recent interview that war is way harder than football (good to know that) and those soldiers are doing a great job.

He also said that the military life is not for him and he is not capable in fighting on a battle field.
