Dakota Fanning Appears Goth In New Moon Poster

Monday, August 31 2009

Dakota Fanning, who is known for her angelic look and characters in her previous films, changes appearance for her role in the much-anticipated vampire flick New Moon that will hit cinemas on November 20.

The 15-year-old plays Jane, a member of the Volturi clan which is a ruling class of vampires led by Michael Sheen’s character.

Sheen discussed Fanning's look on Twitter months ago, "I think Dakota may look the most unsettling," he wrote. "So angelic, yet so weird. As Jane that is, of course. Like an evil red riding hood." As for his own visage in the movie, he added, "Keep forgetting how freaky I look with my red eyes."
