Christina Ricci, the star of Black Snake Moan, Speed Racer, and Cursed, and fiance Owen Benjamin called off their engagement according to reports.
A source close to the pair said, "Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. (Then) the engagement was off,"
Another source conferred, "They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."
The couple's engagement was revealed in March. They met each other while filming their upcoming film All's Faire in Love, which is scheduled for release this year.
