Cameron Diaz was tasked to present the Webby Person of the Year award to Jimmy Fallon at the Webby Awards in New York on Tuesday, and she was game to do it.
"I'm here because of a guy named Jimmy Fallon, you guys may know him, right?" the actress joked. "He seamlessly took over this little show called Late Night. Have you guys heard of that? Of course I'm just kidding, it's legendary."
Diaz went on, "He never lost touch with the millions of fans that tuned in every single night to watch the show. The way that he did this was that he communicated with his viewers through his Late Night blogs, his Twitter feed. He engages fans."
In accepting the accolade, Fallon gave a smart 5-word speech saying, "Thank God Conan got promoted."
