Poison lead vocalist Bret Michaels stated that he will not sue Tony Awards after his accident on June 7 where he fractured his nose and split his lips.
He described the incident saying, "I got my bell rung!" and added, "All in all, I'd like to think I feel okay. But I got to be honest with you, I feel pretty beat up."
Addressing reports that he will sue the awarding body, he said, "I want to make very clear to everybody that – first and foremost – I was honored to be asked to be at the Tonys. I'd never done it before and in all my life it's not something I thought I'd be on. I was really excited. There's no lawsuit. I'm not doing any of that. I'm taking the high road."
Meanwhile, the rocker also dished that he is dating Taya Parker, the winner of VH1's Rock of Love season-three. "We're dating, we're having fun, we'll see what happens. It's not exclusive, but we're dating and having a great time."
