A-list couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly donated $1 million to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri over the weekend.
Such generous contribution was made known after Pitt's brother Doug announced the great news in their hometown. The Springfield News-Leader stated that the lump sum will be used to create an endowment fund to pay and support children's cancer specialists.
In lieu with this, the cancer treatment unit of the said hospital will be renamed Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center honoring Pitt's mother.
Moreover, the endowment fund will help build a new pediatric unit, a Ronald McDonald house with 10 bedrooms, and expand the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units respectively.
