Blake Lively, who plays Serena van der Woodson on CW's hit TV series Gossip Girl, talked about her fashion style in Nylon magazine's November issue. "I dress just like Serena!" she quipped.
"I own half her wardrobe, so it's far too similar to the way I dress," said the 22-year-old actress. "I feel ridiculous at times with her because I'm, you know, killing someone or marrying someone, but I look like me. I'm like, 'Oh, this is absurd.'"
But most of the time, "When I'm doing a movie, I hide behind the character's hair or makeup or clothes. If I can transform myself, then people will really believe that's who that is, and I need to believe that's who that is," Lively noted.
