Beyonce Allows Taylor Swift To Finish Her Speech

Monday, September 14 2009

After winning the Best Female Video award, Taylor Swift wasn't able to finish her acceptance speech when Kanye West interrupted the 19-year-old saying that Beyonce should have won.

Thanks to Beyonce. She saved Swift's day. When she was announced the winner for Video of the Year, she humbly stated, "I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Swift indeed came out and said, "Maybe we can try this again." She went on thanking her supporters including the director of her winning music video for the single "You Belong With Me."
