In a recent interview for CNN, Alec Baldwin told Elliot Spitzer, that he wants to run for an office.
"Yes, it's something that I'm very, very interested in. I do believe that people want to believe that someone who deeply cares about the middle class would like to seek public office.We've had men who are Ivy League groomed running this country since 1988." he said.
"We've had 22 years of Yale and Harvard and the problems aren't getting solved." he added.
The 30 Rock star is really planning to quit acting and get himself a real job at Washington.
"As much as I like acting, I know that I would love to have a different life, a private life. I think doing this now for a living has become really hard. It's really hard," he said earlier this year.
"I would rather go do other things and have whatever amount of time I have left in my life, have more of a normal life... I want to find out if it's possible. How close can I get." added the actor.by fw editor |
