American Idol season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert unveiled his lead single, "For Your Entertainment," off his debut album with the same title on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show on Friday.
"It's dance music with a glam-rock shuffle beat, in the style of T. Rex and 'Rock and Roll, Part 2,'" Lambert described the song. Critics perceived the single as Lambert's "Britney song" because it is a danceable track. Before his stint on KIIS-FM, he tweeted his fans to "get ready to shake yo asses to this song. It'll make ya dance for sure."
And on Friday morning, he posted another tweet,"Hope you're gonna wanna blast it while you're gettin ready for Halloween! Then at the club!" Moreover, fans who weren't able to listen to the song can simply visit the singer's website since "For Your Entertainment" is streaming there.
