'Alice in Wonderland' arrives on Broadway

Wednesday, September 1 2010

Hollywood's News.com informs us that the classic story "Alice in Wonderland" who's author is Lewis Carroll will arrive on Broadway, in early 2011 after it was adapted for the screen by screenwriter Linda Woolverton, under the directions of Tim Burton and starring actors like Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway.

Because Tim Burton's fantasy, created in 3D, was a record and gather fabulous revenue over one billion dollars in international box-office, the producer and director of Broadway Theater Nederlander Theatre, Frank Wildhorn hopes this new and modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's story will have the same popularity.

"Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure" will be represented in previews on 21/03/2011 and will officially begin on 17/04/2011 and is directed by Gregory Boyd.

Alice follows a musical topic today, separated from her husband and alienated from her daughter, who was struggling to keep her job before returning to Wonderland.
