Released in 1996 in the USA, this movie is a comic drama. The movie is about some girlfriends from the high school. Its tells us how Nikki and Emma, two of the friends discusses their life after school, in the colleges. Over the time we come to know that Nikki has been raped and so she suicides. All the friends try to move on in their lives and grow up in the process. Emma has a small-minded boyfriend and Angela deals with an arrogant mother. The movie has been very well executed. The movie deals with some of the important issues like class-ism, gender binary and other issues, which divides people. This makes it a must- watch movie.
It has been directed by Jim Mckay. The movie is very famous, as it has won some of the prestigious awards like the Golden Space Needle award, Filmmakers Trophy and the Special Recognition award.
