This is a wonderful documentary film released in the year 1995. It is about a scholar, Audre Lorde and her struggle for survive, throughout her life. The movie beautifully portrays the intelligence and the imaginative power of the author. The movie brilliantly captures the different phases of Lorde’s life, specially the problems faced by Lorde, be it her fight with cancer or her troublesome experience while teaching at Tougaloo College in Mississippi. Wonderful photography of this film, makes this film more interesting and to be watched for.
The film has been directed by the famous directors Ada Gay griffin and Michelle Parkerson, who are into film making for many years. This movie was also nominated for the prestigious Grand Jury Price in 1995, which makes the film even more popular.
